For those who remember Socalli v8

Not sure which old school members are still around but for anyone who remembers Socalli v8 ( Darren Cole ) we have sad news to share that he passed away back in April of 2023, I couldn't see any other posts about this so thought I'd share it here.

Congrats on finding such a well preserved van, they are almost all gone to rust and dust in my part of Canada these days ( Ontario ) they were a great van for many people for a long time, good to see one found a good home with an owner who wants to mod it up a little.

Moderator please explain how I can do a search the phrase "engine cover". Two words using the (+) sign does not seem to work. I tried t with and without quotes and or the suggested plus sign and it doesn't seem to work for me, Thanks in advance. Ray Also try the term doghouse.... or look ...

Thanks for that info Herbie, I've often checked in to see if Tom had posted or if there were any updates on his health, he was a credit to this community and seemed liked a really good guy, very sad to hear he has passed
